"N.O.I.S.E." is about to be made!! Here's how it started.........
My principal asked me to create a performance class for non-musicians. I laughed - he didn't. So I came up with NOISE, based on STOMP. Fast forward two years, and I get ambitious and approach the directors of the Endicott Performing Arts Center on possibly putting this to the stage....and they said YES. I was stoked.
SOOOOOo.....this summer, the EPAC Summer Kids' Theater is performing my show, "N.O.I.S.E." which uses everyday found items, as well as the human voice. It is a journey of sound and surprise. Participants range in ages from 5-18 and will be performing songs by Row-Loff Productions and arrangements and songs by me!!
Shows are August 19 7:30pm, and August 20 3:00pm
We had our preview performance last night at the Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally in Binghamton, NY with about 20 kids performing (about 1/4 of the total kids!!
They did a great job despite being small in number.

Wow! 'Sounds' wonderful! Congratulations on your stage success. Lots of Lids remember people like you who give them such special experiences.
I read through your August posts and enjoyed your comments on stamping - can totally relate to the one about cost - that ran through my mind too. I could save SO much money by making my own cards! LoL! Famours last words of many if us, I think!
Anyway, I'll check back in with you another day. Enjoy your stamping!
